What is an energy imbalance?
Energy flows through our bodies like rivers (we call these meridians). Emotions and other energy imbalances are part of that flow. If a river has a lot of debris, the water flow can get blocked and become stagnant causing bacteria to collect. Its the same in the body. Emotions and imbalances can collect up in areas of the body. These areas become impacted and eventually symptoms develop.
Energy should be flowing in and around you like the middle of the river where the water flows as quickly as it likes. Trauma causes us to develop coping mechanisms which help us survive in the moment, but are rarely the healthiest patterns. As we continue in life, these less desirable habits around processing emotions restrict the natural ebb and flow of energy, and can become:

What does it mean to clear energy?
Energy clearing allows for a gentle clearing out of the debris and encourages an improved flow of energy affecting your body and life. Clearing energy is one of the fundamental practices for living a healthy and joyous life.
A practitioner uses muscle testing to determine what imbalances and emotions need to be cleared, and uses a process of intentional thought, emotion and movement to clear the energy. This can be done remotely.
What is the experience like?
An energy clearing session begins with a short conversation about an issue for which you are looking for relief. The practitioner will connect to spiritual guidance and to your energy field, and will then begin the process.
The practitioner will let you know what's happening and give you information that keeps you aware of the process. If you wish to know more about any imbalances that are found, the practitioner will be happy to provide additional information, such as when the imbalance occurred, what event or experience might have caused it, and what effects it might be having on the body.
You'll want to be seated or lying down in a comfortable position where you can hear and respond to the practitioner easily. For the best experience, get into a relaxed state and try to notice your thoughts, emotions and changes in the physical body while you listen.
What kind of info do I get?
The practitioner will share emotions and imbalances that come up, as well as an age or timeframe when the imbalances initially occurred in your body or energy space. The information will be very generalized, so if you wish to know more, please communicate that to the practitioner.
Most of the time the information is something that you will resonate with and it will help to make sense of things in a way unlike any other. You may recall memories long forgotten in these sessions. There are times, however, when new information comes in that may not seem familiar. As your practitioner speaks, carefully listen to what words are chosen and try to tap into the feelings you experience. Having emotional responses to the information is normal, but doesn't always happen.
